Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team at Towner County Medical Center in Cando, ND. The Cook will be responsible for preparation and serving of meals to patients and residents, ensuring that all dietary needs and restrictions are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repreparation and serving of meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and restrictions
• Ensure that all meals are served on time and at the correct temperature
• Assist in the cleaning and sanitization of kitchen equipment and work areas
• Follow proper food safety and handling procedures at all times
• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure that all dietary needs of patients and residents are met
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and residents
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of food supplies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a healthcare or food service setting is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
